The Linux Mint project has announced Linux Mint 20.2 'Uma'. A beta release is scheduled for mid-June and a stable release and upgrade path should open up soon after that. It'll get updates until 2025.
As before, you can use three different desktop looks with Mint 20. These are my own favorite Cinnamon, which was inspired by GNOME 2.x; MATE, a fork of the GNOME 2; and the ultra-lightweight Xfce.
The software finally matched what the hardware could do.
