A Google Maps bug is rearing its head again, but this time its affecting a Maps feature Android Auto users rely on for travel times.
This past March, Google introduced a chatbot inside of Maps as part of its overhaul of the software's navigation suite. The company pitched the feature, Ask Maps, as a way to give users a way to obtain information no traditional map can provide. Today, Google is expanding what Ask Maps can do, starting with the addition of new agentic capabilities.
It goes without saying that Google Maps is excellent at the fundamentals. Not just that, it's perfectly capable of helping you with daily navigation. Between the live traffic updates, turn-by-turn navigation, and easy rerouting, it's a pretty solid choice.
