Sherri Shepherd announced that she's been diagnosed with COVID amid addressing the cancellation of her self-titled Sherri talk show, one day after Entertainment Weekly confirmed that the daytime series would end later this year after four seasons in syndication.

“Wow! I am completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for me and [the ‘Sherri’ show],” she wrote in the caption of a post that included screenshots of fan comments reacting to the news.
