Journey Into Imagination With Figment at EPCOT in Walt Disney World - Full Queue and Ride POV Video

The original Journey Into Imagination opened with guests riding on a rotating turntable in ride vehicles that gently revealed Dreamfinder piloting his blimp-like Dream Catcher. As the vehicle moved into place, Dreamfinder introduced Figment and the journey began with the iconic Sherman Brother’s song, “One Little Spark”. Dreamfinder and Figment appeared at EPCOT’s opening day celebration, but their attraction, Journey into Imagination, would not open until March 1983. The original version of the attraction closed in 1998, with its ride time cut in half and Dreamfinder and Figment removed entirely. The removal of the beloved characters was met with criticism, leading Disney to close the attraction in 2001 and reintroduce Figment.
