Magic Waterhole: Rare to find a 120 metres long waterhole in the Upper elevated stretches of a river. Drive as far as you can on one of our major river tributaries and you will come to this waterhole with rapids either end. Sections of the waterhole are too deep to stand up, plenty of room for a long swim and areas suitable for children. Even in Summer the waterhole clearly has current, but this tells you the waterhole is constantly refreshed with cool pristine alpine water. Ern, 30/12/25. | Vic
